this photograph was made of a five-inch diameter ball constructed from two copies of Anne Sexton’s Transformations, cut apart line by line and assembled in readable order with tape into a 300-foot long ribbon. The ribbon was originally  created for an exhibition entitled ‘Spirits in the Trees’ at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston (where Anne Sexton is buried) and presented wound about the trunk and branches of a tree.
