Late last week, I was very thrilled to mail the first of what I hope will be many such donations to the Somaly Mam Foundation, a nonprofit public charity committed to ending modern day slavery around the world. 

The money for this donation came from a commissioned piece.  Over the next 9 months to a year I’ll be developing the auction project, which I am hoping will be a source of even bigger - much bigger - donation amounts.  Fingers crossed!
