My daughter Esmé just turned five and these are a few pics from her party. It’s not my artwork, but a creative endeavor which I tackled with pretty much the same passion (and obsessiveness....)! It was so much fun to do, and I think everyone had a great time. Thanks go to Pinterest and Etsy for some great inspiration!
Esmé’s birthday party!
One of my new favorite things - collaborations with authors! I created this thumbprint portrait with Jennifer Gooch Hummer, author of the novel ‘Girl Unmoored’. It incorporates the headings (in Latin!) of each chapter, along with a selected snippet / passage from that chapter. It is wildly colorful, was incredibly fun to work on, and now - having read and re-read the snippets in the making of the piece - I am dying to read the book!
