All that is needed for this portrait is a list of 15-20 of your favorite books!  Other options could include using your children’s favorite books (and their thumbprints),  even a list of favorite films, and using dissembled movie posters, song lyrics, cut from the liner notes of favorite cd’s, images and titles from cd or album covers, postcards/travel books/maps for the avid traveler.......).  The possibilities are endless!  This one is a portrait of my 3 1/2-year-old son Hugo and was constructed from color photocopies of covers, text and illustrations from a small handful of his favorite books.  The books used were:  Lunchtime for a Purple Snake, Cabo and Coral Go Surfing, Pezzettino, The Peace Book, Zen Ties, What Was I Scared Of?, Mister Seahorse, The Red Book, Wave, The Best Artist in the Ocean
