The family and I are going to be spending a few weeks in France starting later this month, and I have been preparing to hit the streets of Paris and check out galleries, maybe show them some pictures of my work.  I have also been lamenting the fact that I have yet to learn any respectable amount of French, after five years with a Frenchman (shame on me....) .

In my preparations, as I was rooting through a drawer in my studio looking for something, I came across this small piece I made years ago (years before meeting Xavier, even) with pages from a French/English dictionary - and images of lips cut from magazine pages.  Coincidence?  hmmm....
